Creating the giant panda was fun but not easy at all . It was a mix between five pics of pandas and the mouth of a grizzly bear ( to improve the agressive expression ) . Once the interesting part of each photography was extracted , I had to blend them in Photoshop , using my personal hair brushes set . Getting the felling of a natural position was really the most difficult part . The sky and the background buildings were both painting and photos . Thanks to Rodeo FX CG artits Matthew Rouleau and Gabriel Tremblay Beauvais for giving me beautifull 3D render pass of the planes as well as the Empire State Building in the right lighting condition .
