This matte painting was used as a background in a full CG shot . The camera revolved around a " dancing " structure in the middle of an icefield , covering a 360 ° view angle . So my task was to provide a 15 K seamless composition ( pic A ) in order to ensure enough quality in the HD resolution frame ( see detail pic B ) . I guess it has become a standard case for nowadays matte painters !
